ULC Strengthens Partnership with ODPC at Summer Camp
ULC partnered with Open Door Presbyterian Church (ODPC) for Summer Camp in August 2009. Two of ODPC's Pastors, Dihan Lee and Daniel Kim attended the camp along with a team of volunteers who graciously and lovingly served the ULC kids as counselors. Their support affirms a wonderful partnership of more than ten years.

WJLA-Channel 7 Hosts ULC Girls for Washington Mystics Game
Abby Fenton, Director of Community Relations for WJLA-ABC 7 hosted 10 ULC girls in the Channel 7 suite to see a Washington Mystics game. The evening featured food, fun and a surprise visit from Channel 7 anchor Maureen Bunyan and Mystics owner Sheila Johnson!

ULC Celebrates Model of Excellence Awards 2009
Unique Learning Center is proud to honor Shirley Dabney Haulsey, President of Haulsey Technologies, Inc, at the tenth annual Model of Excellence Dinner on November 20, 2009. Special thanks goes to our MC and friend, Leon Harris, TV Anchor and Journalist for WJLA - Channel 7.

ULC Teens Create Short Films
Under the direction of Peter Harmon, a Film Major at Towson State College, ULC Teens created three short films that premiered summer of 2009. Our appreciation goes out to Maggie Moo’s, Immaculate Conception School and Flexible Family Fun and Fitness Center for providing the filming sites.
