ONE Ministries – UNIQUE Learning Center seeks to provide inner city children and youth with the most effective tools of human development, thereby unlocking the rich potential of their undiscovered gifts and talents. Recognizing that true education means development of the whole person, ULC strives to reach its students in three principal areas:

Summer Youth Program
ULC provides a comprehensive summer program that includes academics, learning enrichment activties, a weekly fun day and internships for teens. Teens who are interning earn a weekly stipend paid by ULC. Students are required to save half of their earnings. If you are in a position to provide an internship opportunity for a teen, please contact the Director Sherry Woods at (202) 716-4106

2011 Internship Sites: Blank Rome, Department of Justice, U.S. Court of Appeals, Wilkkie, Farr and Gallegher.

The summer concludes with a week of camp for all our students. For the third year in a row, ULC will partner with Open Door Presbyterian Church in Centreville, VA to put on a great week of recreation, fellowship and worship for our students. A team of 10-12 volunteers from the church will team up with ULC’s staff and take the kids to Highland Retreat Camp in Bergton, VA, August 8th-12th.
